Our History
Faith Family Fellowship started in 2012 in the home of Scott and Sara McIntosh, rural Oakwood, Ohio. Our pastor, Don Litchfield, accompanied by his wife, Karin, had been an associate pastor at Kokomo Christian Fellowship in Kokomo, Indiana, for nearly 22 years, when he felt called of God to move. Through prayer, they ended up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they lived for seven years. While there, they met the McIntosh's.
The McIntosh’s had made a hard decision to pull out of the church they had been attending for 13 years, and, at the same time, unbeknownst to each other, Pastor Litchfield began to feel that God was calling him to be the pastor of a church somewhere. When the McIntosh’s discovered this, they invited the Litchfield family over one Sunday and the two families had a service together. Soon thereafter (November 28, 2012), Faith Family Fellowship was established, and began to grow. Currently, we meet at a pole barn, and around 30-40 people regularly attend. Come join us!
Sunday service starts at 10:30, with a potluck afterwards.
